Luchtpark Hofbogen
Another notable roof park in Rotterdam is Luchtpark Hofbogen. It is situated on top of a viaduct that used to be part of a railway line between Rotterdam and The Hague. The viaduct has been unused since 2010.
Underneath the 1.9-kilometer viaduct, there are shops, offices, and restaurants. On the section above Hofplein Station, you’ll find Luchtpark Hofbogen, a public park created by the architectural firm ZUS.
The park is accessible via Luchtsingel, a bridge connecting it to the city center.
Currently, the park features a vegetable garden with fruit trees, providing a pleasant space for picnics and leisurely walks with a view of the city.
Luchtpark Hofbogen regularly hosts cultural events, including outdoor film screenings, festivals, and performances.
The park is open to everyone from 10:00 AM until sunset.
To reach Luchtpark Hofbogen, take the Stadhuisplein Metro station or the tram to the Hofplein stop.
