Amusement Parks

In this section you can see some of the amusement parks located near Rotterdam. Distances in the Netherlands are short, and public transportation works very well.

It is worth visiting some of these places where children and adults will have a great time.

Efteling. Theme park near the city of Tilburg for children and adults. It has roller coasters, fairground rides, carousels, mazes, artists, boat rides, fairytale forest, theater, hotel, electric cars, playgrounds, castle of terror, etc. An unforgettable day for the whole family. After paying the entrance fee, all the rides on the attractions and the entrance to the different pavilions are free of charge. It is impossible to see everything in one day.

Duinrell. Duinrell is one of the largest water parks in Europe with roller coasters, slides, swimming pools, three-dimensional cinema and various shows. It also has a camping area with bungalows for an unforgettable weekend.

Walibi Holland. Formerly called Six Flags, this theme park is guaranteed fun for the whole family. With a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, go-karting, tio vivo, back-and-forth rides, and other mechanical fairground attractions. It also has Merlin’s Castle, but the main attraction of the park is its spectacular roller coasters (El Condor, Excalibur, Goliath, The Tomahawk). It also has bungalows to spend a few days in the park.

Walibi Holland. Spijkweg 30, 8256 RJ Biddinghuizen.From Amesfoort, take the train to Leeuwarden to the Harderwijk stop. There take bus number 247 to Walibi. Visit their website at this link.

Madurodam. This theme park in the city of The Hague represents a miniature city with the main tourist monuments of Holland made in 1:25 scale.

Dolphinarium. This is a theme park with aquatic mammals that offers no less than nine shows daily.
